Can you believe it? I am one week old today, August 23!! A friend of Mommy's told her my birth announcement was in the church bulletin back in Springfield. I feel so proud of myself!! Here Mommy, Daddy, and I are posing in my bedroom. I am really trying to get this smile thing down, but just am not there yet. But, I will keep on practicing cause I love Mommy and Daddy's smiles!
Mommy and I practice making faces at each other. She has a lot more than I do! As my eyes get better, I am hoping to master all of hers and then some!
Daddy loves kissing me and his go-tee always tickles! I hope when I get older, I can grow one out just like him!! He is SO cool!
And of course, here I am sleeping!! I have definitely perfected sleep in my old age. I have now started sleeping around 5 hours at a time during the night, but then Mommy and Daddy wake me up so I can get my feeding time in. During the day, I sleep a lot as well, but again, they wake me so I can again...eat! But I am doing really well. I eat 8 times a day and most of the time eat for at least 30 minutes. I have actually gained 250 grams this week. Mom and Dad were so proud! This is the starting point of my next journey...week 2! I will be trying to get in wake time between eating and sleeping. We will see how well I do!
