Dedicated to Jesus

On Sunday, October 25, Mommy and Daddy dedicated me to Jesus at Second Baptist. It was a very special day! Mommy got me looking good in my gray/blue corduroys, blue and white collared shirt, and blue vest. And don't forget my adorable size 1 Old Navy sneakers! She and Daddy decided to be an "Indian" couple and wear matching colored outfits of light blue and khaki. They prayed that the Lord would help me eat and then sleep at the perfect times so that I would be a happy camper during the dedication. And of course, as I am learning more and more about Jesus, He heard them and answered their prayers. I did great, Grandma B watched me so that Mommy and Daddy could sing in worship and listen to Dr. Marshall preach, and then I slept pretty much the whole time through the dedication.

Grandma B, Grandpa, Aunt Kara, Uncle Jonathan, Cousin Ella, and Robert Uncle (from India who was visiting Springfield the same time) were there with me on stage along with Mommy and Daddy of course. My Uncle Cody couldn't be there because he was working, but I know he loves me and wishes he could have been there! Dr. Marshall prayed for me. Daddy teared up and Mommy really cried. She said later it was because it was such a neat moment and yet also a moment that meant she had to totally trust Him with my life no matter what the call or cost the same way her Mommy and Daddy had to do with her!

Afterwards, we took a picture and I got a really neat Bible!! It was a great day!
