PEAS Bring Back the Carrots!

I'm proud to tell you, on the 4th day of eating carrots, I finally enjoyed them!  I didn't spit them out.  I didn't shake my head no.  I didn't cover my face with my hands.  I finished my whole 2 1/2 ounce portion.  But just when I thought I was finally back in control, Mom and Dad threw me a surprise.  Well, not really threw, but rather spooned me a surprise.

Today I tasted peas for the first time.  I didn't spit them out.  I didn't shake my head no.  BUT I didn't enjoy them and barely ate half of my small portion.  When the green colored mush first enter my mouth, I thought 'Peas? bring back the carrots!!'  I did however keep a smile on my face most of the time and laughed when Mommy made silly faces at me.

I happened to take a peek in the kitchen to see what else might be coming in the next several weeks.  I can't read the labels, but I saw something yellow, something green but darker than pea green, and something cream colored.  Oh dear, what could they be?

Overall, trying all these different colors and flavors, whether I like them or not, makes me feel proud and like a big boy!  But then again, there is still nothing like time with Mommy and drinking milk!

  1. Just wait. Most likely, one of these days he will purse his lips, turn his head and there will be nothing you can do to cajole him to eat something. Or maybe that's just my kid! :)

That's a really cute food picture, by the way.
