I know most kids like to read, but my desire to read books is unlike most 18 month old's entertainment with literature. Yes. I love my baby board books. Yes. I love the recorded books from Hallmark that Mama and Papa have sent me. Yes. I love all the picture books that Mommy and Dada read to me daily. And yes, I have also decided to take up books that Mommy and Dada read themselves. This week? My focus is on helping them learn how to take care of Benjamin by reading
Baby Wise. I've even begun applying a reading method that Mommy has done with me. Following the words with my finger!

But in case you were wondering about some of my more age appropriate favorites, here's just a few
this week:
Baby Einstein First Words book (I can say banana, cheese, tree, car, block, balloon, shoes, socks, ball, and say all the sounds of lion, elephant, monkey, snake, peacock and zebra);
The Seals on the Bus (I sing along the whole time, making the animal sounds, and saying "All around the town);
Hello, Hello;
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Sing-a-long (I actually match pitch and fluctuate my voice with the different songs); and
Everyone Poops (I know EXACTLY where my poop goes..in my diaper! And I like saying POOP too!).
