Heart Breaker's First Valentines

Won't ya be mine?

I really enjoyed my first Valentines.  I woke up to my fav cereal and a really nifty Valentines card from Grandma B and Grandpa.  Mommy let me sit on her new stool.  I really am getting good at this sitting up thing.

I went with Mommy and Daddy to a wedding where I was the hit of the ceremony...just don't tell the bride okay!  I couldn't take my eyes off the bride, a few of the women scared me and I started crying, but for the most part just hung out on Daddy's lap chewing on a toy.  I seem to be teething like crazy lately!!

Then we ended the day back at home and delivering cookies to all of our friends.  I really enjoyed laying on Shalini Auntie's carpet and playing with Bhaiya's toy doggy and 6 tennis balls.  (Those were the only toys he would share with me).  I also had fun standing on Vidhu Auntie's balcony while she held me and talked to me.

It was a great day!  And of course no day can end without getting love from Mommy and Daddy as they lay me to sleep and pray to Jesus with me.  It seemed to me that Valentine's Day was definitely about Mommy and Daddy loving each other, but also about sharing Jesus' love with family and friends.  So Jesus, I'm still a bit young, but I hope when I start talking and understanding more, you will answer Mommy and Daddy's request.  That one day I will ask YOU...

  1. Oh Alicia, your little boy is just too cute. He looks like such a happy kid.

On a completely separate note, I'd like to know why you write what appears to be a first name followed by Auntie. Instead of saying Aunt Jane, is Janue Auntie in India??? I need an education! :)
