In 6 months, I...

Learned to shake up my Leap Frog maracas from Uncle Cody.

Experienced my first holi festival with Aunty and Uncle.  Mommy said I was too young to attend the main event in the gardens downstairs.  Maybe next year.

Started sucking my toes!!

Cut my first tooth on March 9 which also happened to be my Uncle Jonathan's birthday!  It's my front, bottom, right tooth.

Began clicking my tongue!

Discovered that not ONLY do my hands have fingers, but they also have two sides that look different!

Weighed in at 17lbs 3oz and a little over 25 1/2 inches long!!

Absolutely LOVE skyping with my Mama and Papa on Saturday mornings and Grandma B and Grandpa on Sunday mornings!







Realized just how funny and entertaining Sookie Jane is when she just sits.  I can't seem to take my eyes off of her.  I get so excited and then a bit discouraged because no matter how many times I call for her, yell out to her, or wave my arms, she just sits there with this pink droopy thing hanging out of her mouth.

Noticed, while swinging, that there are these things on the ceiling that go round and round.  Daddy calls them fans?


Developed the talent of making a dinasaur sound when laughing excitedly!  (FYI, the odd noises in the background are being made by my Daddy...he's so silly!)

Mastered the art of sleeping on my tummy and getting up on my knees!  Oh and yes, still enjoying the wonderful taste of my thumb!  I keep trying to get up on my knees during tummy time, but I just can't figure out what to do with my hands and arms yet.

Have almost perfected sitting up by myself.

Made new friends!

Like to scream for joy and open my mouth BIG and WIDE!!  Yes, even when I eat my food.  I know it looks like I am mad, but I'm not.  Super happy for sure!!

Added bananas, apples, squash, spinach, peaches, and green beans to my menu of carrots, peas, and rice cereal.  So far my favorites are carrots, spinach, and green beans.  I really don't care for the fruit unless mixed in with my cereal.

Enjoyed having fun with Daddy at our favorite coffee shop!  I am also loving the practice of wearing shorts.  So much fun and free!
