A Few FIRST Journeys

I am now 4 days old! Mommy and Daddy are very proud of me and say that I am doing a great job. I'm really trying to feed when Mommy tells me to and stay awake to eat for 15 minutes each. 30 minutes to eat is really long and hard, but I keep trying. I have had many first journeys already and wanted to show them off to you!

First time to meet Mommy face to face. I thought she looked pretty good after all the waiting and pain I put her through. As soon as she saw me, she told everyone in the room to come and look at her beautiful baby! YEP...that's me!

First time to listen to Daddy read to me from one of his favorite authors. Just before that, he told me one of his favorite stories from what He called the Bible. It was about a young boy named David who faced a giant named Goliath. It was Daddy's favorite story he heard from Mama and I can't wait to hear it again!

First time to meet my "sister" Sookie. I don't think she knows what to think of me yet. But no matter where I am, she is always there watching me.

My first time sleeping in my pack-n-play. I have another bed, but Mommy says it's easier this way for now. She told me she loved this picture because it showed all my long, dark brown hair.

My first car ride in the daytime to see the world around me...oops I fell asleep.

My first doctor's visit with Doctor Wazir. He said I was very healthy and had already gained weight since leaving the hospital. Maybe I am doing better than I thought at feeding.

My first time in my bouncy seat. When Dad put me in it, my hat got all messed up. The bouncing is kind a weird which is why I look so silly. Mommy just laughed!

  2. Yes, I am too actually! HA! I think with us being so far away from family and friends, it's a way for a us to stay connected and share this amazing journey with everyone. If we were home, I don't think I would be so dedicated.
